What cake

This is a very delicious cake that i got from a cook book .

1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup margarine cut into pieces
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar
1 cup brown sugar packed
2 eggs beaten

Mix oatmeal and margarine together: pour boiling water over them to soften.Add soda,cinnamon,salt,flour,sugar,brown sugar and eggs. Mix well and pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 for 25 mins. Spread topping over cake - recipe is below


TOPPING

3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp milk
6 tbsp butter
1 cup coconut
nuts -optional

Combine brown sugar,milk and butter into sauce pan and bring to a boil.Boil for 1 minute. Add coconut and nuts and stir. spread onto cake
