Bubble gum martini

1 oz bubble gum vodka
2 oz lemonade

Run a lemon slice over the rim of martini glass and then dip in sugar. In a martini shaker, combine the vodka and lemonade over ice and shake. Pour into martini glass and enjoy.

Bubble gum vodka

I seen this today on a cozy kitchen website and it looked yummy ! Now remember this is an adult beverage lol

You have two options with this, you can either let the gum steep for at least 24 hours, or you can cut the pieces in half and it would only need to sit for 12 hours. The longer you can let it sit the better so the vodka really soaks up all that bubble gum flavor. For this recipe I used Double Bubble.

8 oz vodka
8 pieces bubble gum (do not use sugar-free)

Combine the vodka and gum in a container with a lid and allow to sit for 12 – 24 hours.

Fresh squeezed lemonade

There is nothing better than fresh squeezed lemonade on a hot summer day ! You could even add in some mashed up strawberries or raspberries for an even tastier treat!

2 c. sugar
1 c. fresh lemon juice (about 5-6 large lemons)
1/4 c. fresh lime juice
1/2 c. loosely packed fresh mint leaves (optional)
8 1/2-10 1/2 c. water, divided
Ice cubes

Directions:

Combine 2 1/2 cups water and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved and then simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool about 20 minutes. Add lemon and lime juices to the sugar syrup. If desired, place mint leaves in a lidded pitcher or large, lidded storage bowl. Pour lemon-lime mixture into container. If not using mint, refrigerate. If using mint, allow to stand 1 hour and then strain mixture and store until ready to serve.

When ready to serve, mix lemonade base with 6-8 cups cold water. Start with 6 cups and then adjust according to your taste. 6 cups will be very sweet, 8 cups will border on watery.
